AN INVITATION
We invite you to an out-of-the-ordinary country experience
-- a visit to our working family farm to select your special fresh
and fragrant Christmas tree. Choose from the many shaped Douglas
Fir, Scotch Pine, Cedar, Sequoia and other species tagged for
sale with a wide range of prices and sizes all in a natural setting.
Saws are provided for your use and tree packaging is available.
Plan to spend as much time as you wish exploring our 90 acres
of forest, ponds, meadows and orchard. Admire the magnificent
views of the snow-capped Sierras. Bring a picnic lunch and use
the many picnic tables scattered about.
We suggest you bring your walking shoes for the several trails
which wind through the farm and your camera to enhance your memories
of the day you will want to remember. A tractor-drawn hayride
can take you on an enchanting tour of part of the farm.
Our country store has a wood stove to warm by and we offer hot
cider and baked goods from our own farm bakery as well as unusual
Christmas decorations and gifts.
Unusual varieties of apples and pears, all organically grown on
the farm, are available during the Christmas season.
This will be an experience you will treasure and hopefully you
will make a visit to North Star a part of your Christmas tradition
as have so many other families.
