About Us

A community built around real Christmas trees

Who We Are

We are the faces behind California's Christmas tree industry.

We're a statewide nonprofit agricultural association that brings together the people who grow, sell, and support farm-grown Christmas trees across California.

Our work is about more than just trees. It's about a holiday tradition enjoyed by millions of California families each December, and the people who make it possible.

Our Story

More than seventy years ago, a handful of Christmas tree growers in the Santa Cruz area began meeting to share ideas, solve problems, and support one another.

Those conversations grew into the California Christmas Tree Association.

While our industry has changed over the decades, the spirit of sharing knowledge and helping one another remains the same.
